At its core, Ifa represents divine knowledge, destiny (Ori), and the blueprint of life itself. Through Ifa, humanity communicates with the divine to understand purpose, challenges, and the correct path forward.

Ifa is personified through Orunmila, the Orisa of wisdom, foresight, and destiny. Orunmila is the witness of creation and the custodian of Ifa’s sacred verses (Odu Ifa), which contain the accumulated spiritual knowledge of existence.
