Odara is one of the most misunderstood yet indispensable Orisa in the Yoruba spiritual tradition. He is the Orisa of communication, crossroads, choice, consequence, movement, and divine justice, and the messenger between humans, the Orisa, and the Supreme Creator.

Without Esu, no prayer reaches the divine and no blessing returns.
